USA Shipping  

Orders will usually be delivered within 21 working days.


We currently use USPS services to deliver your box.  Once your box is dispatched, we will email you the tracking number, giving you the ability to either check online, or via your mobile, to see when your item has been delivered. Deliveries are usually not made over weekends and bank holiday.

 

Missed Delivery & Non-Collection

If you’re not at home, the service provider ‘USPS’ will attempt to leave your box in a safe place. If it can’t be delivered, they will leave a notice with details to arrange a redelivery or arrange collection from your local Post Office.

If they can’t redeliver your item, or you don’t collect it, they will hold onto your box at the Post Office for 15 days. After this time, they’ll return it to our warehouse. Hopefully it won’t come to that, as you will want to be reading your books by then!

Returns 

Returns Policy

All items must be returned in an unused (re-saleable) condition, with the returns form and original packaging.  All un-damaged, unused returned products will be credited to the original credit card used for purchase. 

We strongly recommend you use a trackable shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for any parcels lost in transit. All costs incurred in the returning of the box will be at the customer's expense.

Cancelling Subscriptions

You can cancel your subscription at any time by sending us an email or by logging in and changing the settings in the subscription portal. If you face any problems, please contact support@aboxofstories.us.

 

Subscriptions made during special offers or using discount codes

If you bought your box as part of a special offer or deal, your purchase may be subject to different terms. If you are unsure about the terms of the purchase you should refer to the messaging of the offer, or message us before purchasing.

Refunds and cancellations of subscriptions made using special offers or discount codes are processed at the discretion of A Box of Stories. If you want to inquire about cancelling a special offer subscription please send us an email at support@aboxofstories.us.

For promotions involving the customer receiving a free box, in the event of a cancellation not within the terms of the promotion (i.e. cancellation before the minimum number of orders charged) the customer is required to pay full listing price of all the boxes they have signed up for and have already received, including any free box.

 

Returns Procedure


Please obtain a Returns Merchandise Authorisation code (RMA code) and returns form by emailing support@aboxofstories.us, within 14 days of receiving your goods. This RMA code must be written on your returned box.  Please return your box and the Returns Form within 14 days of emailing us. Once the product has been received and inspected we will issue a refund within 7 business days of receiving the items.  All costs incurred in the return of the box will be at the customer's expense, please obtain and share a proof of postage receipt for your records.

​Faulty Goods

In the event that your product is faulty, please follow the general returns procedure and define the item as faulty.  If you would like to exchange a faulty item instead of obtaining a refund, please be aware that it can only be replaced for the same product, subject to availability.  If the same product is not available, or an alternative can’t be agreed, you are entitled to a full refund. Goods are deemed faulty, if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs. Items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear will not be considered faulty and will be returned to you with no refunds issued. 


Order Cancellation / Distance Selling Regulations

Under the United Kingdom’s Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (DSR) you are entitled to cancel your order for any item(s) purchased from A Box of Stories for a full refund within 7 business days of receipt of the items.  This does not apply to items that cannot be returned because they have been spoiled / are not fit for resale. Order cancellations made under the Regulations must be made in writing - quoting your name, address and order number - within 7 business days of delivery of your item(s) by email to support@aboxofstories.us.


Upon receipt of your notice to cancel the subscription, A Box of Stories will send you a Return Merchandise Authorisation code (RMA code). This code must be input on the Returns Form and this form must be included in with the returned items. Once you have cancelled your order, the goods should be returned to the address as detailed on the Returns Form, in their original condition, within 14 days of receipt. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us; we therefore recommend that you send via a secure delivery method and retain proof of postage. We will give you a refund within business 14 days of us receiving the items. All costs incurred in the returning of the box will be at the customer's expense.
