Always love getting new books and ones that I may not have bought myself, but felt that the books this time didn’t all fit the crime and thriller genre. Of the five I received (although I did love that it was five!) four would probably be more suited as general fiction, and although they were all good books, they weren’t really what I would hope to get in this particular box.

I liked the selection of the books in this box -some interesting looking thrillers and crime books for me to get stuck into. I liked that I had a thinner book to give me a quicker or lighter read. Sometimes you don't want to commit to a big read.

After reading the books it appears they are very similar in their story telling as in each 2nd chapter goes back in history describing how the character has got to where they are now. This is great to add depth to the story but when you have 3/4 books in the box which are written the same way it gets a bit monotonous. Thank you

I absolutely love this idea and was so excited to receive my first box. It's great to discover books I wouldn't necessarily have picked up myself. My only criticism would be that when you are gifting a box to someone it would be nice to just do the one box instead of having to sign up for two although my mum has enjoyed the first box and is looking forward to the second!
